About Me

LisaHi! Welcome! My name is Lisa Marie. I am a busy WAHM to 3 little boys, working hard to maintain an actively busy business with Tupperware. So far, so good.

There’s so many reasons that people join a direct sales business. Here’s MY story:

I first signed up with Tupperware when I was about 19 - excited to hit the life out on my own and suffering a severe plastic container addiction! hehe. I really wanted to get myself some great Tupperware products before I moved out of my parents house. So, I signed up, got my kit, jumped up and down gleefully and started a part-time hobby selling Tupperware. I did good - my best friend and I teamed up to get ourselves a tonne of Tupperware. She held a party or 2 for me and we got enough to organize our cupboards in our first apartment.

Moving was exciting - we went to Toronto - a big city! I didn’t know hardly anyone and spending my days as a young 20something working as a nanny didn’t really help me find a lot of friends. I switched my Tupperware group to a local one and found some great friends! I felt so supported and excited. I got to meet some new people in the community too - as I worked a few shifts at the Tupperware cart which was in the mall at the time. It was perfect for me.

Then I met my to-be husband, got married and moved to the east of the city. I changed teams again (I know - hopping Tupperware lady, BatMan!) and kept at my hobby while I was newly married and then when I was pregnant with my first son, William. I was so proud to acheive my first $1000 party that year - earning myself a Chef Series Frying Pan (LOVE IT!) and enough money to buy a whole bunch of cloth diapers! :) After William was born, I took a break.

In September of 2006, I signed up again. This time as a business - not as a hobby. My hope was that I could suppliment our income so that we could start saving for a house. It's ended up being enough "extra" money each month to afford my husband the chance to be on parental leave for the full time and we are able to get some "splurges" more often. Now that he's back to work, it's time to start the saving plan!

And so, here we are!

I LOVE working in direct sales - it's a great way for me to make money while still being home with my kids!

This website was developed as a way for me to expand my interest (and continuing addiction!) with kitchenware. I wanted to share my experiences and passion with others!

I hope that you will be able to find some great resources and useful information as my site grows and that you will join me as we learn more things together!
