Lisa’s Chili
By Lisa Marie on Jan 26, 2009 in Recipes
I love to make chili. Maybe it's because it's like the easiest thing to make ever! Here's how I do it.
1. Brown ~1lb of ground beef. Add to the slowcooker.
2. Dump in a can of:
- Chili Seasoning Diced Tomatoes
- Red Kidney Beans - drained
- Kernal Corn
- Sliced Mushrooms - drained
3. Add Simple Indulgences SouthWest Chipotle Seasoning to taste.
4. Cover and cook for 8-10hrs on low.
5. Serve over rice.
This makes a very chunky, not-so-much-liquid kind of chili. If you prefer more sauce, add 1 can of tomato soup.
If you have a chance to pop ingredients into a bread maker at the same time and set to finish shortly before you are planning to eat, it tastes SO good to sop up the chili remains in your bowl with fresh bread!
