Salsa Mac & Beef
By Lisa Marie on Mar 6, 2009 in Recipes
I love Campbell's recipes. I must admit that my favourite recipe book ever is one that I grabbed at the grocery store shelf one time near the soups.
The other night, short on food and needing something tasty for supper, I pulled everything out of the cupboard and found a can of cheddar cheese soup. On the can was a recipe for Salsa Mac & Beef. Yummy. After making it, I'm proud to say that 2 out of 3 kids loved it (the 3rd is the pickiest in the world and didn't even try it - opting for a ham sandwich instead!). Hubby liked it and so did I. So, thought I'd share!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can Campbell's Beef Broth
- 1 can water
- 2 cups uncooked elbow pasta
- 1 can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 1 cup chunky salsa
1. Brown ground beef in a skillet.
2. Stir in broth and wather, heat to a boil.
3. Add pasta and cook for 10 mins or until tender.
4. Mix in cheese soup and salsa, heat through, stirring often.
Serves 4.
