Tuesday’s Tip - “Get Rid Of…” Mold

Another week with some advice on how to get rid of things we are often faced with. This week, let's talk about mold.
It not hard to forget about that leftover porkchop nicely saved in a Tupperware in the back of the shelf in the fridge, only to find it on garbage day, looking a little on the fuzzy side. What should you do with that container now?

Get rid of mold in your containers with diluted bleach or vinegar. Even though the container is washed with soapy water, the mold is still there… it just can't be seen. Seal straight vinegar into the container and leave it for a several days. This will kill the mold.
