Tuesday’s Tip - “Get Rid of…” Stains

Continuing in our topic - How to get rid of stains.
Tupperware's Limited Lifetime warranty doesn't cover staining. But the following tips can help you both avoid AND get rid of staining.
1. Avoid staining all together by purchasing unstainable products - like Tupperware's RockNServe or HeatNServe containers or our pre-stained Saucy Spatula.
2. That's not always possible, I know. So, if you have a container or spatula or anything that's been in contact with a tomato based product you need to rinse your sauce covered item in cold water first. Hot immediately sets anything red into the material. Cold will wash it away. Then you can clean it in hot water with little concern for stains.
3. Try scrubbing them with a paste of baking soda and water.
4. If an item is already stained, put it in the sun. Lay it outside where it can get direct sunlight and the stain will fade away! Some people recommend the lawn for better success. It's like magic!
