Knowing that this is a hot topic and of interest to everyone, I have been trying to keep an eye on information about BPA.

I recently came across http://www.chemicalsubstanceschimiques.gc.ca - a website devoted to the study of chemicals. Listed under April 18th is some information about testing done on Bisphenol A.
